Katie Caron | SIMULATIONS

November 17-19, 2018

GEORGIA is pleased to present SIMULATIONS, an exhibit of the work of Katie Caron. Caron uses ceramic, rubber, and a variety of reclaimed materials to build illusionary environments that engage the natural world, technology, biology, and human perception. Her forms gain an uncanny agency through the conversation between these concepts, surprising and even provoking the viewer. In addition to showing her mixed-media sculptural works, Caron will create a site specific installation for GEORGIA. Total Cone and the Sleep Donors will provide a live dronetrack for the installation.

SIMULATIONS will be on view one weekend only.

All events are free and open to the public. For questions about accessibility contact GEORGIAartspace@gmail.com
